**NEW THIS FALL**
Four new classes based on our new pattern line by Nancy Lindberg. Nancy is a popular knitting and fiber arts teacher in the Twin Cities area, and her patterns are written with beginning and intermediate knitters in mind. Each of them is easy to follow and contains clearly-written directions and good illustrations. We’re very pleased to be carrying Nancy’s patterns and to offer these new classes to make several basic knitting projects.

In this class we’ll discuss the basic technique and each participant will choose one style to make for the class project. 10 a.m. – Noon
Instructor: Diane Corson

Create unique, self-patterning yarns by applying color directly to pre-knit “blanks” of undyed yarn. Once the dyeing is completed, unravel the blank and re-knit it into scarves, socks or whatever seems appropriate. Diane has taught this technique at fiber shows and art conferences in Iowa and South Dakota, and if finally bringing it back home. Her instructional DVD shows you the basics; then let your imagination loose and create your own one-of-a-kind yarn. Fee includes all dye materials and one 100-gm blank; extra blanks may be purchased if desired. Participants should wear old clothes or bring an old shirt to wear during class, since dye stains are permanent!
