Just a reminder . . . our sale table is loaded with lots of good stuff! Make your way to the back room and you’ll find yarns in discontinued colors, back issues of Interweave Knits, Knitscene, Interweave Crochet, novelty yarns and a whole bunch more. Be sure to check it out! |
Parking |

- Metered parking is available directly in front of the shop on West Street and is available on a first come basis.
- Off-street parking is available directly behind the shop. On Hyland Ave. turn into the driveway that is directly across the street from the Collegiate Presbyterian Church sign and park in the 2nd or lower-tier lot. (The first parking lot, with numbered stalls, is reserved for apartment tenants. Parking in these stalls will get you towed!) Cut through the alley to access the shop entrance.
- Also, we are located ½ block from the CyRide bus stop. Take the Red or Green routes and exit at the Union Dr. stop closest to Monty’s Barber Shop.
- And, for all of you bicyclists, we’re working on getting a bike rack installed . . . Stay tuned!

Registration Fee: None. Cash donations for shipping are always appreciated.
Inspired by the popular book, Knitting For Peace by Betty Christiansen, we'll be hosting drop-in knit-a-long sessions. Everyone's welcome: Guys and gals, youngsters and the young-at-heart. So...if you're a fan of knitting, world peace and good karma, please join us.
Saturday, January 30. 9 – 11 a.m.
Saturday, February 6. 9 – 11 a.m.

Materials & Supplies:
- One pair of #8 -24” cir needles for quilt blocks, wash cloths, scarves and sweaters
- One pair of #7 – 16” cir + #7 DPN for hats
- One set of #5 DPN for socks and mittens
- Some yarn is available –or- any worsted weight natural fibers from your stash
- Knitting for Peace book for patterns (optional)
